The ClearSonic Lid System is designed to substantially reduce sound that would normally escape upwards. Lid Systems are especially helpful in spaces with high ceilings. We made sure that many of the same great features that have made the ClearSonic Panels and SORBER famous can also be found in our Lid System. The Lid system is portable, durable, cost effective, and simple to set up and take down.

The lid consists of a center section and (2) side sections. The STC5 and STS5 panels are 5.5' long, while the STC4 and STS4s are 4' long. Each lid section is 2' wide. If your enclosure is larger than 6' across, an additional 1' wide center section (STC412 or STC512) can be added. A clear lid is also available, but the SORBER lid baffles are reccomended due to their ability to absorb reflected sound. Lid Systems utilize a light weight yet sturdy telescoping aluminum bar that attaches to the acrylic with rubber coated hooks to provide support for the lid sections.

The ClearSonic Lid System requires the use of an A5-6 or larger CSP. The AX12 or AX18 Height Extenders are recommended to provide additional headroom under the lid. ClearSonic Lid systems and IsoPacs are easy to get in and out of. Since SORBER panels don't actually connect to the ClearSonic Panels, you can simply use one side of an S5-2 (two sections hinged together) as a "door".
